This course will look at news and how to find it and report on it. The course will focus on techniques for writing crisp, accurate, informative and and fast-paced news reports on a range of subjects. The course will look at how to best use your sources and content and how to shape all your material into a strong news piece for print or online publication.

The course will also look at different interviewing styles and basic reporting techniques.

To be a good journalist you need to be curious and have a hunger for news and information. You also need information, technique and experience to be able to generate proper journalistic work. These are the basics of journalism that you will use through out your career.
