Media Academy Iraq (MAI) recently completed a workshop on marketing for 14 participant journalists in Amarah, in the Maysan Governorate, southeast Iraq.

 

The workshop focused on tailor-made approaches to marketing for each journalist within their given media house.

 

This course aimed at media managers, professionals and NGO managers, focused on key marketing techniques for media houses and NGOs. The course analyses successful strategies for marketing by looking at the so-called ‘marketing mix’: price, location, advertising and customer service. Much of the course focused on specific market environments and how to make the best out of individual sets of conditions.
