As part of the a total of four workshops geared at preparing Iraqi trainers in electoral coverage, this course on separating real from fake news was organised as part of a partnership between MiCT, Media Academy Iraq and FCI (French Ministry of Foreign Affairs).

 

Today, the third of a total of four workshops on the preparation of Iraqi trainers in electoral coverage organized by the partnership between MICT, the German Media Academy in Iraq and CFI of the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

 

The Moroccan-Dutch coach Anas Ben-Gharif will deal with the basics of digital verification, the management of social networking sites and how to track down counterfeit news that accompanies electoral campaigns for political parties.

 

The CFI and the German Academy will organize similar workshops in Beirut.
